We have Jackson's Chameleons, Bettas, bunnies, Guinea Pigs, lovebirds, parakeets, finches, cockatiels and puppies available at any given time! We also have mice, rats, tortoises, chinchillas, and turtles from time to time. We're always happy for our customers to come in and visit with our animal friends, whether or not you are prepared to take one home!
About Our Puppies
Due to recent news concerning puppy breeding that has aired in Hawaii and across the Mainland, many of our customers ask where our puppies come from. Everyone is, and should be, concerned with how our puppies are cared for and what we do to ensure their continued health while with The Pet Hale.
We’re proud of the policies and procedures we have in place concerning our four- legged friends. No puppy comes to The Pet Hale unless we have personally met with their owners at a licensed veterinarian and the pup receives a clean bill of health. Our puppies come from friends, family, neighbors, and customers. Many families are referred to The Pet Hale from others who have had a good experience working with us placing their puppies. We also receive referrals from our local veterinarians. We do not, have not, and will never obtain puppies from large scale breeding facilities.
Our commitment doesn’t end there. All puppies receive their first set of vaccinations and are dewormed during their initial visit with the veterinarian, at our expense. After purchase by our customer, the puppy receives another free vet check to ensure they are still healthy and fit for purchase. The Pet Hale also provides, at our expense, a 1-year, $1,000 Health Warranty through Household Pet Protection, which is explained to our customers before purchase. Added to that - our customers receive discounts of up to 15% off their pet supplies on the day they bring their new pup home...and free food! This gives our customers a greater peace of mind when making their decision to purchase a puppy from The Pet Hale! We pride ourselves on being unique from any other pet store in Hawaii!
